Healthier 2-Ingredient Chocolate Sauce (Vegan)

I swear this chocolate sauce is so good, you’ll be eating it off the spoon! Not only is it vegan and requires only 2 ingredients, but it can be whipped together in just a few minutes. Leave behind all the unnecessary ingredients in store-bought chocolate sauce and feast on this guilt-free.
There are so many ways to use this sauce. Here are some of my favorite ways:
  • On ice cream (or nice cream)
  • Vegan chocolate frosty
  • Smoothie bowls
  • Brownies
  • As a fruit dip
  • To make chocolate milk

– there aren’t a lot of places that chocolate really DOESN’T belong, so the possibilities are endless!

  • A small mixing bowl
  • A spoon or whisk

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp cacao powder

  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup

Directions

  • Add both ingredients to a bowl and use a spoon or a whisk to mix until completely combined. As this point, you can either add more maple syrup to achieve a thinner sauce or more cacao powder to achieve a thicker sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
