This one is for the chocolate lovers! And those of us that like super simple and quick recipes, so we get our chocolate exActly when we want it 🙂 It’s so moist, ready in less than 5 minutes and uses only 7 simple ingredients. It really is the perfect late night treat!

Cooking essentials:
  • A microwave
  • A microwave-safe ramekin or mug
Substitutions:
  • Almond flour: I have not tried any other type of flour in this recipe, so I can’t attest to how it would turn out. If you try something different, I would love to know how it worked in the comments!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 2 tbsp applesauce, unsweetened

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a microwave-safe mug or ramekin.
  • Microwave for 45-60 seconds. You will know it’s done when the center does not look gooey. Enjoy immediately!

  • This recipe makes 1 serving. Nutrition label is based on 2 tbsp of chocolate chips.
