About this honey mustard dressing
If you couldn’t tell by now, I love making dressings and dips from scratch to avoid all the additives in store-bought dressing. I’m a huge advocate of always having at least one dressing/dip in your fridge at all times. This easy honey mustard dressing can go with so many dishes – on a salad, with chicken tenders, pork or salmon, on burgers or in a power bowl. And it’s likely you already have everything you need, making it much more affordable.
Kitchen essentials
- A small mixing bowl
- A small whisk (a fork or spoon will also do)
- A storing container like a mason jar
Substitutions
- Dijon mustard: stone ground or whole grain mustard can be used in place of dijon for a tangier taste.
- Honey: can be substituted for another liquid sweetener like pure maple syrup.
- Lemon juice: can be substituted for white vinegar.
