About this cranberry sauce + how to use it
Not much gives me those cozy Fall and Winter vibes like homemade cranberry sauce. This naturally sweetened cranberry sauce only uses 3 ingredients (4 if you include water) and a small saucepan. It’s so simple to make in just about 10 minutes and can enhance so many different meals. Here are some ways I like to use it.
- In an egg scramble with veggies or on an egg sandwich
- On a slice of sourdough with raw local honey
- As a condiment with chicken or turkey
- On top of pancakes, waffles or oatmeal
- With potato latkes
Kitchen essentials
To make this naturally sweetened cranberry sauce, you’ll need:
- A colander/strainer
- A small saucepan
- A mixing spoon
Substitutions
- Raw local honey: any type of honey can be used. I prefer raw and local for it’s health and environmental benefits. You can also substitute with pure maple syrup.
- Fresh orange juice: can be substituted for equal parts apple juice or apple cider.
